Picture Galleries

Another chance to combine two of my hobbies - music and photography. My early retirement has allowed me to travel to various venues around the country and see some of my favourite bands in action. It has also enabled me to meet, face to face, some of the many other fans with whom I had previously only exchanged e-mails with.

The buttons on the left are described below.

Dunkerque

John Otway’s legendary annual forays into Europe, featuring special guests like Dr. Feelgood, Eddie and The Hot Rods, Splodgenessabounds, Wilko Johnson

Skegness

Butlins, Skegness, provides an unlikely venue for Rock & Blues weekends, featuring some of the best gigging bands around.

Abbey Road, March 2002

    The ‘B-side’ recording session

Aylesbury

The Two Hit Wonder’s home town

Club Riga, Southend

A great venue, where John Otway, Dr. Feelgood, Eddie and The Hot Rods are all regular visitors.

Sedbergh (Ingmire)

    More weekend mayhem

Otway’s Birthdays

Of course, the best birthday present was ‘The Hit’ in 2002. Here are some other special Birthday Gigs

Sweeney

Pictures of part of ‘The Big Band’s’ alter ego

Eddie And The Hot Rods

Galleries of pictures of another of my favourite bands.

Otway Assorted

John Otway at some other venues.

The Wee-eBand

The next big thing? I don’t think so.

MBD Tour 2005

The Mad, Bad, & Dangerous Tour, featuring John Otway with Richard Holgarth, The Hamsters, and The Wilco Johnson Band.
